Engineering

The College was founded in 1951 and has since grown to be the biggest college of the university in terms of student enrollment and faculty size. This reflects the growing demand for engineers as the nation's industrialization continued. The College now consists of six Divisions and three Departments, encompassing all the major areas of engineering.

In the past five years, the College has been a recipient of several Nationally Funded Projects which were initiated to support Specialization programs. Specialized fields include automobile engineering, mechatronics, information/ telecommunication engineering, visual arts and technology, electronics and computer engineering.

These programs have tremendously improved the educational and research infrastructure through investments in the classrooms and laboratories. With the infrastructure built, the college will be able to meet the demand for well-trained engineers the 21st century's society needs.
